Top price / quality ratio. The accommodation is located directly on the beach with quiet surroundings, is simply furnished and has friendly staff. In addition, there are sun loungers, umbrellas, water dispenser and Cafe Americano. What could be improved is water pressure in the shower and wifi speed.
The room was spotless and the AC was very cold. The place is right on the beach, there were a couple of swings and chairs right on the sand to just hang out. We were also offered a boat ride which we took and it was just beautiful. I wish I could have stayed a couple of extra days. It was a very pleasant experience.
By far the most charming of the hotels on offer in Celestun. Only 6 rooms, built literally on the beach, with a private beach area. Pretty basic, but fairly new and nicely done, with aircon and some thoughtful touches. Hot water is hit and miss. Frankly at <£60/night it's great value! Celestun is not a big town and there are a wealth of places to eat on the doorstep, whilst it retains an element of peace.
We chose the hotel for the location, and it didn't disappoint. It's right on the beach, with a couple of palapas and beach chairs to lounge. The rooms are basic, but they have AC, refrigerator, and cable tv. The internet, water, and electricity all worked well. There's also a refrigerated drinking water dispenser and coffee/tea. The town plaza, beach bars/restaurants, and the beach launch point for flamingo boat tours are all less than a 5 minutes walk.
It was a top destination. The hotel is located on the beach to which you have a direct access from your room. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Would recommend.
Nice little basic hotel with literally 5 meters to the beautiful quiet beach. Enclosed car parking spot is right next door. If you want to see flamingos just go to the beach and ask the guys there. Awesome beach restaurants are only 50m away. Beautiful sunset included (see pictures)...
WiFi is weak much of the time. Hotel supervisor was very accommodating to our needs, but amenities were scarce. Free coffee available 24/7. Directly on the beach. Great place.
A well situated little hotel in Celestún. The staff were helpful, the rooms are simple and clean. We stayed two nights and had no problems at all. The walk to the beach is about 30 seconds and the walk into centro is about two minutes. It has a/c, a tv and a closet for hanging clothes. Overall a nice place to spend a few days as you explore the beauty of Celestún.
